Hey Solo Mother!

I know there are plenty of single moms out there! We are all colors, cultures and creeds! With all of our differences, we have many reasons to unite and band together. We are an incredible and talented group of women called the SOLO MOTHER TRIBE!

Isn’t it time that we stop letting ourselves feel the stigma? Isn’t it time to appreciate our beautiful diversity? Isn’t it time to hold ourselves to a higher standard than most of society does? YES IT IS!

Why do this?

  • Because we need to drown out the statistics about single moms and our children!
  • Because we need to stop believing that we are struggling to survive and begin to thrive!

Join us in the Solo Mother Tribe and venture to empower each single mom to level up and reach higher ground. With our collective positive outlook we will be stronger together. With a mentality that is encouraging and supportive we can change our lives and the lives of our children, one family at a time.

As a lifetime freelance aspirer, I am walking, and sometimes running, imperfectly through life the best way that I can. I feel that it is my responsibility to live truthfully, authentically, and wholeheartedly. This site, a step in my direction, is my effort to do just that. I would not call myself a writer but I have been writing as long as I can remember -- short stories, poems and writing jags for friends. I journal because it helps me to process things. And when life gets a little crazy -- cause you know it will -- I write. It's my escape and simultaneously its a window to becoming something more.
